For light, for protection, for strength, for soaring flight: a hand-engraved feather swings from a traditional shield, both formed in solid sterling silver.
One of a kind.
This necklace was created by my incredibly talented neighbor, Fred, a silversmith working in traditional Navajo technique. This piece was created entirely by Fred with anvil, hammer, chisel, and imagination. The shield is hand-formed and stamped from thick sterling. The feather is realistically contoured, and detailed with delicate engraving.
Sterling feather and shield together measure 2 inches long and 1 inch wide. Substantial sterling silver curb chain measures 18 inches.
Handmade in Wyoming. Built to last, made with love.
