Heirloom Necklace with Anasazi Pottery Shard
A work of art and history, of simplicity and respect. An heirloom adornment.
The focal point of this necklace is a gorgeous shard of Anasazi pottery, ethically gathered from a private ranch in Arizona. It is estimated to be 800 to 1200 years old. The deep earthiness of the pottery is complemented by sleek sterling silver and thick black leather cording.
This one-of-a-kind necklace was created by my incredibly talented neighbor, Fred, a silversmith working in traditional Navajo technique. No pre-fab components - every part of this necklace was created by nature or by hand.
Necklace measures 18.5 inches long, with a sterling clasp. Anasazi pottery focal piece is wrapped and backed in sterling silver, and measures just over 1.25 inches wide and just over 1 inch tall.
Handmade with love in Wyoming.
