The Art of Dichotomy • Hollow-form Bracelet
Curves and angles. Noble metal and air. Solid and flexible. Opposites - or just differences - create such dynamic beauty. May we keep remembering this.
This bracelet was created from an ingot of sterling silver by my incredibly talented neighbor, Fred, a silversmith working in traditional Navajo technique. No pre-fab components: each part of this piece was created by Fred with anvil, hammer, chisel, press, fire, and imagination.
The domes are hollow-forms of silver soldered onto each square base! The back of each square link is flat and solid. The front of each square is stamped. This a beautiful, light, and light-catching bracelet.
Solid sterling silver and one of a kind.
Each link measures about 3/4 inch square. Total length is 7.5 inches, so best worn on a 6.25 to 7.25 inch wrist. Finished with a secure double-fold clasp.
Handmade with love in Wyoming.
